There are a number of reasons that crack a Windows password: just forget what is the password used is working on a computer, etc. Whatever the reason for the need to find a Windows password is Singles and can usually be done in a very short time.
What you Need:
- a Blank CD or a USB Flash Drive
- Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0
box_newTo find the Window's password, you'll need a program called Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 . It is completely free, and works very well. It is not really a program--it is a LiveCD that is burned to a blank CD (or a USB flash drive if using on a newer computer) .
Installing
Navigate to the official website at http://www.windows7password.net/go/winpwd/  -- download the Live CD ISO and save it to your computer. Once it is downloaded, you will need to burn the disc image to a blank CD or USB flash drive. The software used will vary--if your system doesn't have burning software already installed, you can download a trial of Nero, or something free like ImgBurn. Burn it at a low speed.
Using
To use the software, insert the CD into the optical drive on the computer you wish to gain access to and hold the power button until it shuts down. Turn it back on and when the compute logo appears, press the button for the system to enter BIOS. Change the boot sequence to CD first, then Save and Exit BIOS.
The Live CD will start working at the password. You can follow the guides. For the average users password, it will likely take about two seconds to crack. For a very long password, it could take a five seconds, but that is the exception, not the rule.
Once it crack the password to blank, then remove the CD and restart the system. Enter the password at login and then change/remove it to whatever you would like.
Note: Common sense says that this should only be used on computers you are authorized to gain access to. If you use this to find the password to a computer that is not your, it is illegal. This article is for informational purposes only.

Lost Windows XP password. How to login and start computer?

If you find yourself locked out of your Windows XP because you forgot or lost  login password, below are some things you can do.
  • First, do you have the administrator password? Login as an admin and change the password of your user ID. (Obvious Adams?)
  • NEW: If you are an Administrator user, and are logged into Windows right now because your PC is setup to log you in automatically, but have forgotten your password in fact, and would now like to change it — well, Windows requires you to know the old one. However, there is a brute force way to change your Administrator password. Open a Command prompt (START — > RUN — > then type “cmd” without the double quotes) and then type the following command: net user username newpassword
Remember, if the username has spaces in it, then enclose it in double quotes, e.g.,
    net user “Samuel Jackson” pulpypass
This would change Samuel Jackson’s password to pulpypass provided Samuel Jackson was an Administrator user.
  • Don’t have admin access? Well, you can get it if you wish by downloading a cool tool from Password Seeker to recover Windows password if you have forgotten it.
  • Or, you could just download this program to reset Windows XP / 2000 / NT security if the Administrator password, secure boot password, or the key disk is lost.
  • Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 can replace the administrator password of a Windows XP, Windows NT or Windows 2000 system by rebooting the computer with a special set of boot disks or CD-ROM (or usb flash drive). This is useful if you forgot the administrator password and cannot access the Windows XP/2000/NT system.
  • SmartDoctor has put together an Password Recovery Bundle, which can recover many types password included Windows systems.
CAUTION: Please use these tools at your own risk. I believe they are good ones, with good intent, but they should be used only if you know what you are doing.
Let me know how it goes.

How to reset Windows 7 Password on your netbook / laptop using a USB Flash drive

Last week when my friend bought a Windows 7 installed netbook, he created a complex Windows login password to bolster the privacy of his netbook. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember the spelling of his own password the next day and was unable to use his netbook. I suggested Windows Password Key 8.0 to reset the password and start using his netbook again. Let’s find out more about Windows Password Key 8.0.
Windows Password Key 8.0 is a useful application, which can be used to reset the Windows login password on your netbook with the help of USB flash drive. Windows Password Key 8.0 is compatible with all versions of Windows.

However, your netbook must have minimum system requirements to enable Windows Password Key 8.0 to reset your Windows login password. First, your  Windows must be installed in a FAT-16, FAT-32 or NTFS partition and you must also have bootable USB flash drive to reset the password.
You'll need to install Windows Password Key 8.0 on any other Windows PC, which is accesible to you. Once the installation is complete, Windows Password Key 8.0 will launch on the screen.
In the Windows Password Key 8.0 window, you'll need to select the existing Windows Password Key 8.0 image, which is ideally located as a  default option under ‘Choose the existing windows password key 8.0’.
Windows Password Key 8.0

Select the option ‘USB Flash Drive’ and insert your USB flash drive in the USB port. After you insert the USB flash drive, select it from the drop down list and click the ‘Burn’ button.
Select The USB Flash Drive
When the ‘burning’ process starts, Windows Password Key 8.0 extracts the ISO image and  copies the necessary Windows files to your USB flash drive.
Start burn windows password key 8.0 to usb flash
Now you can insert your newly created USB flash drive  into  your netbook port, and then reboot your operating system. Be sure to change your netbook set up to make it boot from your USB flash drive.
When your operating system boots from your USB flash drive, the Windows Password Key 8.0 will initialize on your netbook screen. You need to select ‘Windows installation to be processed’ and then select the user, whose password you need to reset by typing the number associated with it, followed by the ‘ENTER’ key.
Remove windows password

In the next screen, type ‘Y’ followed by ‘ENTER’ to reset a new password.
Crack Windows Password Recover
After you reset a new password, remove the Windows Password Key  bootable USB flash drive and restart your netbook to log in using your new password.
delete Windows Password
It is always a good practice to set up a simple password for our windows login. Although we have utility applications like Windows Password Key 8.0 for our rescue, it becomes a tedious task to reset password, especially when you are travelling with important documents on your netbook.

how to Protect Your Computer Privacy ( e.g. windows password).

1.Administrators Password:
It is the most common way to lock your computer. But is it the safest way? Mostly, it is the easiest way to lock your computer.
How to set administrators password?

These steps work in every case as long as you’re able to log in as an administrator.
①In Windows Vista, click the Start button, and in the “Start Search” field, enter lusrmgr.msc .
②In Windows XP or 2000, from the Start menu, select Run… . In the window that opens, type lusrmgr.msc and click OK.
Double-click the Users folder. On the right, in the list of local users, right-click the account name for the Administrator account, and select Set Password.
Note: On some computers, the account will not be named “Administrator” because the owner or administrator either changed that name or added administrative accounts with different usernames. In either case, you will need to know which of the accounts in the list is the designated Administrator account.
Also be aware that on Windows Vista by default, and in some Windows XP computers by owner or administrator choice, the account named “Administrator” is disabled (this doesn’t apply to Windows 2000; built-in accounts cannot be disabled in that operating system). Setting a password does not automatically re-enable the account, but it is useless to change a disabled account’s password if your goal is to affect currently active administrator accounts.
Alternate methods
You can also change the administrator password by going into the Control Panel and using the “User Accounts” control. Some users may prefer this method to the universal steps above. Follow the instructions below for your situation and operating system.
But if you forgot your windows passwordhow can you recover administrator password?
Please refer to How to Recover and Reset Password in windows 7/Vista/XP/2003/2K/NT for Free
2.BIOS Password/ Start up Password:
Your computers BIOS is the first program that is run when your computer starts. You can tell the BIOS to ask for a password when it starts, thus restricting access to your computer.
BUT it is very easy to clear BIOS password for some people.
How to set BIOS password?
Turn on or reboot your computer. The screen will display a series of diagnostics and a memory check.
A message like “Hit the
key to enter the BIOS setup program” will appear.
When you do hit DEL(It’s not always the DEL key some BIOS’s use F2 or F10 or anothother key combination, check your motherboard manual) at the right time you’ll see a menu screen something like this:

Note: Some BIOS versions use a graphical type menu with icons (a GUI) or have a text interface that appears differt to the one shown, the principle however is exactly the same.
As you can see there are two options that relate to passwords, Supervisor Password and User Password, these relate to controlling access to the BIOS Setup Program and the Machine Boot respectively.
Note that not all BIOS’s have this password feature, your bios may not have it in which case you won’t be able to restrict access to your computer in this way.
Select USER PASSWORD and you’ll be prompted to enter a password:
You should now enter a password of up to eight characters (most BIOS’s are limited to eight characters unfortunately).  I recommend you use the full eight but take care that you choose something you’ll not forget.
The BIOS will then prompt you to confirm the password, just type the same thing again.
Now you’ll want to set your system to ask for that password every time it boots, so select the BIOS FEATURES SETUP option, to see a menu something like this:
Fairly obviously, it’s the Password Check option we’re interested in, so select it and change the setting to ALWAYS.
Now navigate back to the main menu and select SAVE & EXIT SETUP.  Your machine will then reboot and you’ll be prompted for the password.
Each and every time you boot you’ll be asked for password you chose.
Please note that this method of restricting access to your computer is not completely foolproof, there are ways around it. But it will stop or at least delay the majority of casual attempts to get access.
If you forget your BIOS passwordrefer to How to Reset BIOS Password?
3.Hard Disk Password
It is not a very well known fact, but all hard disks have a very strong hardware password capability build in. This password is usually stored both in a chip on the HD controller (the printed circuit board on the hard disk) and on the hard disk itself in a special hidden sector.
Setting this password will make the hard disk completely unusable to anyone that doesn’t know it. And not only on your computer, but on any computer.
A lot of newer laptops will set the HD password together with the BIOS password, completely
locking all the hardware.
How to set Hard Disk Password?
This procedure is for setting password on the HDD in the ThinkPad, for HDD in the Select-A-Dock refer to your user guide.
1. Start Easy-Setup by pressing and holding F1 and then turning on the computer.
2. Select Password icon and then select HDD-1 or HDD-2 according to the hard disk type you want to set.
3. Type your desired hard disk password; then press Enter. You can use any combination of up to 7 characters. Use a combination of any letters or numbers (A to Z, 0 to 9) in uppercase (A) or lowercase (a). Uppercase and lowercase letters are treated the same.
4. Type your hard disk drive password again to verify it; the press Enter.
The hard disk manufacturers are unable to unlock a password protected hard disk, as there aren’t any “secret” master passwords build into the firmware. Even swapping the controller of the password-protected hard disk with exactly the same controller from an unprotected HD will not remove the protection on most disks, as the password (together with most of the firmware) is also stored on the hard disk itself.
The only way of retrieving any files from a password protected hard disk without knowing the password is to send it to a data recovery company for unlocking, but not all data recovery companies could or would unlock a password protected HD.
In this time of rising identity theft, protecting your personal data by locking your hard disk with a password is indeed a good idea. The downside is that when the HD eventually malfunctions it will be harder or even impossible to retrieve any files from it. So, the first rule of using a computer applies here in full strength – “Your data is only as good as your latest backup”!
Enjoy your private computer!!

forget windows password?

Disclaimer: Following information should be used only if its your system and you have forgotten account password. Don't use this information to access a system which is not yours without permission.

Many times we face this problem when we or our friends forget Windows XP password and can't log into Windows. So here we are posting a few methods / utilities which can be used to recover Windows password:

1st Method: The first thing which you check if you forget login password. When we install Windows, it automatically creates an account ""Administrator"" and sets its password to blank. So if you have forget your user account password then try this:

Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type ""Administrator"" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.

Now you can reset your account password from ""Control Panel -> User Accounts"".

Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.
2nd Method: Windows XP and further versions also provide another method to recover forgotten password by using ""Reset Disk"". If you created a Password Reset Disk in past, you can use that disk to reset the password. To know more about it, please visit following links:

http://www.articlesbase.com/computers-articles/what-can-you-do-if-you-forgot-your-windows-administrator-password-1349849.html
3rd Method: If the above mentioned tricks don't work, then try following trick which is actually a loophole in Windows XP Setup and a big security hole:

A. Boot using Windows XP Setup CD and follow the instruction like Accepting EULA, etc.

B. When it asks to repair your existing Windows installation, accept it and press ""R"" to run the repair.

C. Setup will start repairing your Windows and will start copying files, etc.

D. After a few minutes setup will restart your system and when it restarts don't press any key when it shows ""Press any key to continue..."" otherwise Setup will start from the beginning. Don't press any key and setup will resume where it left.

E. Now it'll start doing other tasks and will show a small progressbar with a few details in left side.

F. Look carefully at the details and when it shows ""Installing devices"", press +F10 keys in your keyboard.

G. It'll open a Command Prompt window. Now type nusrmgr.cpl and press .

H. It'll open the same ""User Accounts"" window which you see in Control Panel.

I. Now you can remove or reset any account password without any problem.
4th Method: In fact, there are some convenience ways to help us to be far from that nightmare, as long as you paste "windows password", "xp password", "administrator password", "vista password", "windows xp password", "forgot windows password", "windows administrator password", "windows password recovery", "windows password reset", "windows password Recovery", ect to google, there would be many related results. One of the most reliable way is to take use of windows password Recovery Tool 3.0 which is a current windows tool for empty or reset windows password for PC users even computer freshman. With windows password Recovery, just a few steps, you can re-login your PC without any data loss.

Step1. Download Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 and save it to your hard disk. Take note of what folder you saved the file in.

Step2. Burn the downloaded ISO file onto a CD. * To burn your CD, you'll need a blank CD-R . * If you are familiar with burning .iso image files you may use any software you already have such as Nero, Sonic, Roxio etc.

Step 3. Put in your newly created CD and remove your Windows password.

(1) Insert newly created CD in your CD drive and reboot your computer. When the CD boots, you'll see Windows Password Recovery 3.0 initializing (see screen shot below). If so, you can continue to the next step. If the computer still boots into Windows, it's necessary to change BIOS boot sequence to make it boot from the CD. You can find more info about this on our BIOS page HERE..
(2). Select the user account you want to reset.

(3) Click the 'Reset' button to process.

(4) Click 'Yes' to confirm your action. Or, click 'No' to undo your selection.

(5). In the end, a message box appears, indicating Windows Password Recovery has successfully reset the password.

5th Method: If all fails, then simply reinstall Windows and create new accounts. To recover lost data, you can use Data recovery tools available on net but the chances will be very low to get data back.

That's all we can suggest. If you have any other method / tool, feel free to post here.
